This is a lovely out-of-print Simplicity dress pattern Number 3232, circa 1939, original price of 15 cents! Pattern includes instruction sheet and 13 paper pattern pieces for a Junior Misses’ and Misses’ two-piece dress in three variations. Please refer to the size chart on the back of the envelope for accurate measurements. Vintage size 18 (36 BUST).
From the pattern: “You will claim all the fashion honors when you wear this smart two piercer. Lower edge of blouse is scalloped front and back and darts are fitted to waistline. Skirt flares softly and is bias cut. Style 1 has long sleeves with button trimmed front and Peter Pan collar. Style 2 has short sleeves gathered at top and scalloped lower edge.”
Complete, Instruction sheet included, 13 pattern pieces. Patterned pieces are all included with one pattern piece that has been torn - the sleeve facing “P” has been torn into 2 pieces. Pattern envelope shows age with multiple tears along the top, sides and bottom flap. Please note that these pattern pieces look very different from modern day patterns.
