Quality embroidery of butterfly, peacocks, cherry blossoms and lotus flowers. Six traditional black frog closures in the front, and a slit on each side designed for ease of movement and to help keep the creases out when sitting and enhancing its practicality. The fabric is a silk blend. With a raw silk texture, you can see knots on the vertical at certain angles.
More info on Lilli Ann Label:
The Lilli Ann label was established in San Francisco in 1933 by Adolph Schuman, who named his company for his wife, Lillian. The company quickly became known for their beautiful, and elaborately designed suits and coats.
After WWII, Schuman went to France and it was during this time that the "Lilli Ann" label had “Paris” added. While in France, Schuman was buying quality fabrics from French and Italian small textile companies who were struggling after the war, this ensured Lilli Ann customers received suits made of high quality hand loomed fabrics.
