Concert Hall | 1940s - early 1950s drop waist dress | xsmall
Exquisite late 1940s / early 1950s navy dress. Fitted bodice with princess seams, dolman sleeves, drop waist and very full flowy skirt.
Round neckline and to-the-elbow length sleeves trimmed with navy and white acrylic blend resembling wool. Six silver flower engraved buttons down the center front. Fabric has a beautiful sheen to it and I believe the dress may be made from satin backed shantung fabric.
Drop waist is accentuated with a stand up trim which buttons in the back. Slight color variations with the trim fabric in the back and the silver button is different from the front buttons. I doubt anyone would notice. Center back metal zipper.
Beautiful and timeless elegance. Flattering fit -- a dress to wear to be noticed and one that will never be forgotten.
