Fabulous MAD MEN style pattern. Vintage Simplicity printed sewing pattern, no. 3042, circa 1959, with 12 pieces - Half Size Slenderette - Women's Dress: Shirtwaist dress has convertible collar, set-in sleeves, shoulder yoke, button front closing and a softly pleated skirt. Belt may be self or purchased. V.1 and 2 leeves turn back to form cuffs. V.1 features an applied front band. V.2 has patch pocket. V.3 long sleeves gather into French cuffs.

Suggested fabrics include cottons and blends, broadcloth, calico, chambray, voile, gingham, batiste, linen, rayon’s, silks, synthetics, jersey, shantung, sharkskin, faille chiffon, satin, peau de soie.
