1950s Mexican Sterling Silver large shadowbox brooch | 50s Taxco silver IMP round pin
Beautiful and unusual Mexican sterling silver large shadowbox brooch, circa 1950s. This vintage round hollow pin consists of a pierced cover with a great abstract swirl geometric pattern / design, cut out in shadowbox style on a backing of silver. This interesting design is convex and the base is patinated in an almost black shade for contrast. It measures 1 3/8" across and it is marked STERLING TAXCO MEXICO and IMP. It has a safety clasp pin and a loop as an option for wearing as a pendant. It is in good original condition. Please refer to the photos as they are a true representation.
