Era
Based on construction, materials, and label style, this jacket dates to the late 1940s through the 1950s — the golden era of American wool hunting gear.

Condition
Good vintage condition with expected minimal signs of age and wear, consistent with a 80+ year old wool garment. Things to note, the coating in the back pockets is breaking down. It looks like it was rubber? The actual material of the pocket is intact, but whatever it was lined with is cracking and coming off. Please refer to the last photo. Also the inside cotton flannel lining in the cuffs and jacket has some wear. The ribbing is ok but the cotton flannel lining on the back of the wool cuff has wear. As well as a few spots primarily along the inside edge. You dont see it as it is on the inside but I wanted to mention it. Please refer to the second last photo. The jacket is clean, sturdy, and fully wearable.
