1940s early 1950s fitted rayon pleated little black dress | medium
This gorgeous fitted tea length rayon dress with horizontal pleats, cap sleeves and a flattering vee neckline is quintessential fashion from the late 40s early 50s. It is unlined and has a centre back metal zipper.
Measurements: please allow a little extra room for comfortable fit and ease of movement. Item is laid flat, measurements are taken and then doubled for the bust, waist and hips.
Fits like: medium
Shoulder to shoulder: 16" - 17" approx.
Hips: 38" (You may want to ensure your hips are a tad bit smaller so the pleats don't pull)
Length of bodice: 17"
Length of skirt: 25"
Condition: very good condition. The one thing to note: when the zipper is undone and if you hold the bodice up to the light looking through the back to the front I could see a couple of very tiny pin holes. It is extremely minor but I thought I should mention it. Please refer to the last photo. Dress has not been professionally dry cleaned.
**Mannequin is a modern US size 8
